About The Position

The Opportunity Adobe is looking for a dedicated and hardworking attorney to provide outstanding legal support for product development and go-to-market within the Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Commerce business units. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter who fosters positive relationships, identifies and mitigates risks, and continuously improves legal support. Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and necessary bar membership.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant legal experience.
  • Experience with, and curiosity about, AI and privacy issues.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfort providing legal and practical advice to business management of multiple levels, including an innate ability to provide such advice in a non-disruptive manner.
  • Technical background in software products and development, SaaS, or cloud-based services industry, and/or a willingness to learn the products and the business.
  • Ability to become a trusted business partner to the business who is sought for not only legal but business advice.
  • Desire to take on greater responsibilities as skills improve.
  • Highly responsive to business needs with the ability to successfully prioritize multiple projects.
  • A bias for sharing relevant information across the business teams and within Legal.
  • A positive can-do attitude with a genuine desire to help solve problems and build meaningful change at Adobe.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and establish positive relationships with various teams, including product management, product marketing, engineering, business model strategy, technical operations, security, and customer support to advise the business unit on legal and business issues through all stages of development and marketing, from concept to post-launch.
  • Collaborate with our business partners on the review of Adobe products, services, and initiatives to assess legal compliance and deliver practical advice that supports business goals.
  • Manage product launch processes, including technology release assessments and questionnaires.
  • Collaborate with subject matter leads in Adobe’s legal department, including privacy, litigation, IP, and licensing attorneys.
  • Draft, negotiate, and manage a wide variety of agreements, including inbound and outbound technology licenses, partnership agreements, and product documentation.
  • Work closely with management to ensure successful prioritization and understanding of the role.
