Join us and make an impact on the world and your career! In response to our continued growth in North America and Latin America , we are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our global Legal Team . What we need you to do and be As Legal Counsel, you will be a trusted advisor to our North American and Latin American business teams, supporting a wide range of legal matters in a fast-growing, international software company.

Requirements

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state.
  • At least 3+ years of relevant legal experience, either in-house or at a law firm, with exposure to commercial contracting.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance matters relevant to technology / software business.
  • Ability to provide pragmatic, business-oriented advice in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with using AI in your everyday work and developing the use of AI tools as a larger organizational strategy.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Must reside in U.S. Eastern or Central Time Zone.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional working proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese (Brazil) .
  • Experience supporting operations in Latin America.
  • Experience in a SaaS or technology company.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including customer, partner, and vendor contracts.
  • Advise on employment law matters in collaboration with People and business leaders.
  • Provide guidance on regulatory and compliance topics relevant to our SaaS (Software as a Service) business.
  • Support the business in Latin America, including reviewing and negotiating agreements in Spanish where applicable.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across different business functions to enable smart, practical decision-making.
