About The Position
As Legal & Claims Manager for the Belgian market, you'll be the go-to person for all legal and claims matters related to both markets: a high-impact, autonomous role with a wide variety of responsibilities from day one.
Requirements
- Experience drafting insurance contracts
- Proven experience in claims management (insurance company, litigation or equivalent)
- Strong autonomy: you can take ownership of a topic end-to-end without hand-holding
- Knowledge of Belgian insurance law
- Fluent in English & Dutch
Nice To Haves
- Fluent in French
- Background in cyber insurance
Responsibilities
- Draft and maintain cyber insurance policies for the Belgian market
- Negotiate and manage distribution partnerships (co-broking, agents, risk carriers)
- Work closely with the Product and Tech teams to adapt contracts and documentation to the Stoïk app
- Occasionally, support the NL market launch alongside core BE responsibilities
- Handle cyber claims (cyber fraud, ransomware, liability…)
- Produce claims reporting for risk carriers
