About The Position

Temco Logistics is growing—and so is our Legal team. We’re excited to introduce a newly created Legal Operations Manager role designed to help scale, structure, and optimize legal operations across the organization. This is a high-impact opportunity for a strategic, systems-minded professional who thrives at the intersection of legal, technology, and business operations. The Legal Operations Manager will play a critical role in strengthening the effectiveness and efficiency of Temco’s Legal Department. You’ll partner closely with the General Counsel, Legal team, IT, and business stakeholders to build scalable processes, leverage technology, and deliver insights that reduce risk and support smart decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building from the ground up, driving measurable improvements, and bringing structure to fast-moving environments.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in legal operations, legal project management, or a related field (corporate legal department experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong technical aptitude with hands-on experience managing legal technology platforms and tools
  • Demonstrated success designing and implementing process improvements that drive measurable efficiency gains
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex information to diverse audiences

Nice To Haves

  • Paralegal certification is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve workflows and processes across all Legal Department functions
  • Establish, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to measure efficiency, workload, and risk exposure
  • Prepare and deliver regular reporting packages for the General Counsel and senior leadership on department performance and resource utilization
  • Evaluate, implement, and administer legal technology and systems that improve visibility, consistency, and scalability
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Legal and IT, ensuring smooth system integration and ongoing support
  • Develop, implement, and enforce outside counsel guidelines to optimize spend and performance
  • Lead and manage legal operations projects, ensuring timelines, scope, and outcomes are aligned with business priorities
