Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or universitylaw school program as a 1L or 2Lrising junior or senior at the time of application.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field,
  • Strong interest in gaining hands-on experience in a corporate environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
  • Excellent writing, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), or other relevant tools preferred ability to use Track Changes and document compare functions in Microsoft Word required.
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to meaningful projects.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and prepare memos, one-pagers, and other resources on various topics
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing a variety of agreements, including NDAs, marketing, real estate, supplier, data privacy, and service agreements; terms and conditions; and cross-border contracts
  • Support regulatory compliance initiatives related to consumer protection, advertising, privacy, and sustainability across the US, Canada, and Latin America
  • Contribute to the development of legal education and training materials for business teams
  • Help prepare materials for litigation, dispute resolution, and regulatory inquiries
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product and feature launches, marketing campaigns, and business expansion projects
  • Organize and maintain legal files and folders, ensuring accurate labeling and storage; Format documents for ease of review and incorporation into contract management software
  • Attend meetings with internal departments and external partners
