This full-time, in-office position in Bellingham involves setting up new client files, communicating with clients and other involved parties, managing medical bill payments, addressing client inquiries, conducting client reviews, handling correspondence, maintaining case records, assisting with PIP claims, and ensuring accurate account balances. The regular working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The contributions of this role significantly impact the outstanding results delivered to clients.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma is required
  • Experience working as a legal assistant or in a professional office setting is highly desired
  • Competency working with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong written communication skills and experience drafting professional correspondence
  • Comfortable speaking with clients and healthcare providers over the phone and via email
  • A detail-oriented approach, balanced with the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A team-oriented mindset and commitment to delivering excellent client service

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced education or a paralegal certification is preferred
  • Prior experience in plaintiffs’ personal injury law is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Attorney and their legal team to support a caseload.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to ensure cases are managed effectively and efficiently.
  • Set up new client files, manage case records, assist with PIP claims, and ensure account balances are accurate.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, healthcare providers, and other involved parties.
  • Handle client correspondence, address inquiries, and conduct client reviews.
  • Manage medical bill payments and support the tracking of related documentation.
