About The Position

A busy New Jersey creditors’ rights firm with a strong foreclosure practice is seeking a detail-oriented, deadline-driven professional to support two critical areas of our workflow: borrower compliance verification and our eviction portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured processes, takes pride in accurate work, and can move matters forward with confidence and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in creditors’ rights, foreclosure, landlord-tenant/evictions, or legal operations strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working with high-volume portfolios and tight deadlines
  • Strong writing skills for legal documents and professional client communication
  • Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to spot issues before they become problems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); experience with case management systems is a plus
  • EW (Elite/Wolters Kluwer or similar) experience is preferred, but not required

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience running SCRA/bankruptcy checks and documenting compliance results
  • Eviction experience, including scheduling and coordination through the lockout stage
  • Familiarity with PACER and NJ court processes
  • The ability to stay calm, accurate, and consistent in a fast-moving practice

Responsibilities

  • Perform SCRA (Servicemembers Civil Relief Act) searches and generate required certificates/confirmations
  • Conduct bankruptcy verifications (PACER and related tools), document findings, and escalate issues appropriately
  • Track and update compliance results in case management systems and client platforms
  • Coordinate with attorneys and paralegals to ensure files are clear for next-step action
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure strict adherence to internal procedures and client guidelines
  • Manage a pipeline of eviction matters from intake through lockout
  • Draft and prepare routine pleadings and supporting documents (with attorney oversight as needed)
  • Coordinate service, filing, and court scheduling requirements
  • Schedule evictions/lockouts with court officers, vendors, and clients, and confirm timelines
  • Maintain accurate notes, status updates, and deadline tracking to keep matters moving
