About The Position
Dubin Research & Consulting (DRC) is the nation’s leading trial consulting firm headquartered in New York City. We specialize in crafting winning trial strategies for attorneys through advanced social psychology, our innovative information design processes, our proven techniques in Jury/Judge persuasion, and our acclaimed research methodology. Our attorney litigation strategists distill complex facts and legal concepts into a compelling story, by weaving documents, witness testimony, and conceptual demonstrative aids into a straightforward oral narrative presentation, written in plain English, that jurors understand. DRC is searching for an outstanding writer to assist our litigation strategists in writing these case presentations.
Requirements
- BA degree is required.
- Top-ranked student or recent graduates from a prestigious college or university.
- English, literature, journalism, or creative writing majors are preferred.
- Can distill complicated subjects into a straightforward narrative using simple language. Must be a lean and clean writer.
- Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
- Excellent QC and proofreading skills.
Nice To Haves
- An interest in pursuing a legal career is helpful, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Work at the direction of company directors and litigation strategists to write and edit case presentations.
- QC and proofread scripts and other written work product.
- Review and summarize evidence.
- Subject matter fact research.
