Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Legal Analyst to join our Legal Department at a growing, fast-paced emergency healthcare services company whose mission is “Bringing Communities To Health.” This is a terrific position for college graduates looking to garner real-world substantive legal experience prior to applying to law school and/or paralegals looking to apply substantive legal skills. The position will play a key role in preparing and conducting quality control reviews for medical fee arbitrations conducted under the Federal No Surprises Act (NSA) . This position may also provide additional legal support at the direction of the General Counsel, including the review and drafting of non-disclosure, commercial and healthcare‑related agreements, litigation support, and general legal operations support. This role offers meaningful exposure to healthcare law, federal arbitration processes, and commercial contracting in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment, and an opportunity for mentorship and development of legal skills. This role focuses on execution, analysis, and drafting under close attorney guidance and established legal frameworks The successful candidate will be a strong legal writer with exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and the professionalism to support work that may be reviewed by regulators, arbitrators, courts, or executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Paralegal experience and certifications welcome, but not required
  • This role is well‑suited for candidates seeking substantive legal experience prior to attending law school.
  • Experience in document preparation / review, quality control, or compliance a plus.
  • Experience working in healthcare a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and perform careful quality control reviews of NSA arbitration filings.
  • Collaborate with the NSA Legal Team to identify errors, inconsistencies, or potential risks in arbitration filings, as well as ways to improve them.
  • Review and organize documents and exhibits for arbitration filings.
  • At the request of the General Counsel, draft or review non-disclosure, commercial and healthcare-related agreements.
  • At the request of the General Counsel, provide support for NSA-related litigation matters.
  • At the request of the General Counsel, provide general legal operations support for the team.
  • Utilize the Company’s project management platform for all Legal-related tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records and case files.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, internal clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the NSA Legal Team.
