PCG is seeking an experienced Legal Administrator for its legal department based in Lenexa, KS. The Legal Administrator provides administrative and operational support to the Legal department, with a focus on insurance compliance, contract administration, and legal documentation. This role plays a critical part in managing risk, supporting internal stakeholders, and maintaining accurate legal records. The Legal Administrator works closely with attorneys, internal departments, and external partners to ensure legal and insurance‑related workflows are handled efficiently and consistently. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting legal department or professional services team.
  • Exceptional organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail, and ability to identify inconsistencies or missing information, and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively, and with minimal direction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners
  • High level of professionalism, emotional intelligence, and discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with document management systems and standard business software.
  • Strong organizational and record‑keeping skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues and assess risk.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in legal administration, insurance compliance, contract administration, or a related administrative role.
  • Familiarity with Certificates of Insurance, endorsements, and renewal tracking.
  • Experience supporting attorneys, legal teams, or risk management functions.
  • Prior experience working in a corporate or regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to multiple attorneys, including compliance with legal document requests and administrative support tasks.
  • Assist with compliance and documentation requests by gathering, organizing, and preparing materials for attorney review.
  • Process, track, maintain, and assist with processing legal invoices and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain legal files, databases, and document repositories in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Assess incoming legal or compliance‑related requests and determine appropriate handling or need for attorney review.
  • Maintain organized systems for documents, contracts, and sensitive materials.
  • Manage expenses, invoices, and reporting in accordance with company policies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to process improvement and consistency within Legal Administration workflows.
  • Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Exercise sound judgment in managing executive priorities, communications, and time-sensitive matters.
  • Review and summarize Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests to confirm compliance with contractual and internal requirements and identify non-compliant coverage.
  • Track insurance policies, endorsements, and renewals; identify and escalate issues or gaps in coverage.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, insurance brokers, and vendors to obtain required documentation.
  • Escalate concerns that may impact contractual or legal requirements of certificates of insurance.
  • Coordinate with branches, operations, brokers, and vendors to collect and file required documentation.
