Oversees all activities related to the front desk through coordination with fellow Front Desk Head Manager, including but not limited to: hiring, disciplinary action, staffing, participation in bi-monthly meetings, trainings, evaluations, upkeep of personnel files, and timekeeping. Supervise desk managers and desk staff. Encouraged to work varied shifts during week (at least 1 morning, 1 day, 1 evening), up to 25 hours a week. Work under the general supervision of the Registration & Front Desk Manager. Primary focus will be training front desk staff plus inventory and ordering for the front desk. Manage and verify training plan for front desk staff including new hire, EAP, policies and procedures, CPR/First Aid, cardio and weight room orientations, etc. Update policies and procedures and Employee Handbook annually, or as needed. Organize inventory, and order office supplies, pool wristbands, and staff shirts. Oversee front desk managers to maintain a productive shift in a positive environment. Assist fellow front desk head manager in planning and conducting special tasks and meetings such as special trainings and team building activities. Take meeting notes at bi-monthly staff meeting and communicate them to all front desk staff and department heads Handle patron concerns/complaints and assist with their health, fitness, and recreational needs. Assist with Scheduling/Hiring responsibilities as needed.
