  • PhD or DVM degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience teaching anatomy is strongly preferred (e.g., veterinary, comparative, or human). Other teaching experiences could include histology, physiology, neuroscience or pharmacology.
  • Experience or willingness to use Learning Management Systems, such as Canvas, Kaltura, Tophat, and Google suite is helpful.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and facilitating active and blended learning techniques is beneficial.
  • The successful applicant will be approachable, work well within a teaching team, and will be enthusiastic about teaching first-year veterinary students.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance (70%)
  • Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction (20%)
  • Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations (10%)
