About The Position

This posting is a pool for continuous faculty hires. The Department of Mathematical & Statistical Sciences has an opening for a temporary, non-tenure track, part-time lecturer to teach mathematics and statistics courses. The appointment is for one semester, with the possibility of renewal for future semesters. Lecturer What you will do: Design and Deliver courses. Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials. Design and deliver assessments, such as exams, assignments, and reports. Collaborating with other lecturers, faculty and course coordinators to improve teaching methods and expand knowledge base.

Requirements

  • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
  • Master’s degree
  • A Master’s degree in mathematical sciences from an accredited university; OR
  • A master’s degree in any area and 18 credit hours of graduate-level course work in mathematical sciences.

Benefits

  • The hiring rate (or budgeted rate) for this position has been established at $1,667 per credit hour (undergraduate level) or $1,808 per credit hour (graduate level).
  • The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
  • The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
  • This position not eligible for overtime compensation.
