About The Position

The Construction Management Department in the College of ECC is collecting application materials for a pool of lecturers with positions available as determined by need during the 2026-27 academic year. Appointments from the lecturer pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term.

Requirements

  • The minimum education requirement for a lecturer appointment is a BS Degree in Construction Management or closely related field.
  • Experience managing construction projects operations, budgets, schedules is required.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, MBA, or closely related field.
  • Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lecturer positions in the department carry responsibilities in the areas of teaching, which includes but is not limited to in class instruction, weekly office hours, and grading.
  • Teaching assignments are based upon qualifications of the individual and the needs of the department.
