About The Position

The Warrington College of Business is seeking to hire a non-tenure-track faculty member who will also serve as the inaugural administrative and academic director of the Warrington Consulting Academy to prepare students for careers in the consulting industry, or for consulting adjacent roles and functions in leading organizations. The non-tenure-track appointment will be made at the rank of Lecturer / Senior Lecturer / Master Lecturer. Primary duties will include teaching a range of consulting and experiential courses to graduate and undergraduate students that may be taught in person, online, or through other formats (including hybrid, virtual synchronous, or immersions). Example courses may include an introduction to the consulting industry, a course focused on client engagement strategies, and/or experiential field-based courses with one or more live clients. The position will also collaborate closely with Business Career Services, the Undergraduate Program Office (Heavener School of Business), MBA Program Office, and Specialized Master’s Program offices, faculty colleagues, and other college leaders to facilitate consulting-related career exploration opportunities, build and enhance relationships with consulting firms, and develop networking and competency-building events/programs for students.

Requirements

  • Must have an MBA or relevant master’s degree from an accredited business school.
  • Must have recent experience in consulting and/or related industries.
  • Must have demonstrated proficiency in teaching, mentoring or leading early-career professionals.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates will have experience teaching business courses (or leading training and development programs for early-career professionals).
  • Preference will be given to applicants with significant senior-level experience in the consulting or related industries.
