The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Assistant Faculty-in-Residence of Cybersecurity, Lee Business School [R0150760] . ROLE of the POSITION The Department of Information Systems (IS) in the Lee Business School (LEE) at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for one 9-month, non-tenure track Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Assistant Faculty-in-Residence position in the area of Cybersecurity. The standard teaching load for a non-tenure track position is 4 courses (12 credits) per semester, and two semesters per year. The position requires teaching online-only undergraduate courses in cybersecurity offered by the department. Additional responsibilities may include advising and mentoring students, course development, engaging in service activities, and creating a sense of belonging and community within the entirely online undergraduate cybersecurity program. This position will be housed in the department of Information Systems (IS) within the AACSB accredited Lee Business School. The IS Department works with the Department of Computer Science in the Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering to jointly offer the BS and MS Cybersecurity degree programs. The cybersecurity programs at UNLV are interdisciplinary and involve faculty from the Lee Business School Information Systems Department and the College of Engineering, primarily the Computer Science Department. The undergraduate cybersecurity program is under the direction of the Director of Cybersecurity, who oversees both the undergraduate and MS Cybersecurity programs. This directorship rotates between the departments.
