Lecturer Position in Microbiology, Fall 2026
About The Position
The Biology Department at Ursinus College invites applications for an adjunct instructor to teach microbiology during the fall semester (August 24, 2026, to December 18, 2026). The position will teach a microbiology lecture (Tuesday/Thursday morning) and two sections of microbiology lab (Thursday afternoon). A minimum of a Master’s degree in the Biological Sciences/ Microbiology/Immunology or Developmental Biology, or Anatomy and Physiology, or a closely related discipline from an accredited College or University is required. Preference will be given to candidates with substantial teaching, laboratory, and curriculum development experiences. Ursinus College is an independent, co-educational, residential liberal arts college of 1500 students located about 25 miles northwest of center city Philadelphia.
