About The Position

The Management Department at the University of North Carolina Wilmington invites applications for one lecturer (non-tenure track) faculty position in Management beginning Fall 2026. The successful candidate will teach eight courses in management/OB/HR per academic year. The successful candidate will also participate in departmental and student activities, provide departmental and university service, and engage in community outreach to expand our visibility and student enrollment and participation in the program. This position will be expected to maintain professional qualification through either professional engagement, research, or other means.

Requirements

  • A master's degree from an AACSB-accredited institution in management, organizational behavior, human resources, international management, or a closely related field.

Nice To Haves

  • The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience teaching at a college/university level
  • Preference given to candidates with 5+ years of applied/professional experience in management or leadership
  • Preference given to candidates with a terminal degree
  • Demonstrated experience teaching across multiple modalities
  • Demonstrated interest in leading student-centered activities
