This is an academic-year position, anticipated to start September 2026. Founded in 1935, Honors at UMaine has for over ninety years provided enriching academic and engagement opportunities to students who seek an amplified undergraduate experience. Our students come from more than 70 different majors across campus, and our curriculum emphasizes interdisciplinary inquiry and student-driven learning. Accordingly, our faculty come from many different disciplines, from psychology to philosophy, history to biomedical sciences. Above all, we thus seek a dynamic and effective teacher who is committed to student development and mentorship across disciplines and who wishes to contribute to ongoing conversations regarding student success, curriculum design, and the development of inclusive communities in Honors education.
