About The Position

Lecturer in English (non-tenure track), beginning Fall 2026 Essential Duties and Responsibilities Will teach five sections per fall/spring semesters. Courses included first-year composition and sophomore introduction to literature courses at the undergraduate level. Demonstrated history of quality teaching is expected. Minimum Requirements: Minimum earned Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in English from a regionally accredited institution or university. Teaching experience in online course delivery is desirable. Willingness and ability to teach dual-enrolled sections of English at area high schools, as needed. Deadlines: Application review begins immediately and continues until the position is filled. Position must be filled by August 1, 2026. Teaching and related duties will commence in August 2026. Prior to issuing a letter of appointment, official transcripts must be mailed directly form each degree granting institution to the Office of the Provost, Texas A&M University—Kingsville, MSC 102, Kingsville, Texas 78363-8202. If transcripts are from an international institution, it is the responsibility of the prospective faculty member to have the transcripts translated and evaluated by an approved credential evaluator (AACRAO) http://www.aacrao.org.credential/index.htm.
