The Fine Arts Department at Saint Anselm College, a Roman Catholic undergraduate liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition in Manchester, NH invites applications for a part-time adjunct faculty position in Studio Art for the Fall 2026 semester. The successful candidate will teach either Illustration (Thursdays 1-3:30pm) or Painting (Mondays 1:30-4pm). Ideally, the candidate will have a wide range of 2D studio art & art foundational skills with the ability to teach Painting, Illustration, Drawing I, Printmaking, and/or Art Foundations in future semesters. Some 3D skills would be considered a plus. Student enrollments include a mixture of studio art and graphic design majors/minors, and non-majors. Interested applicants should submit a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, relevant work samples and evidence of teaching ability (a link to a digital portfolio of previous student work and samples of syllabi and assignments), and academic transcripts to the attention of Dr. Sean Parr, Department Chair, via the college website. Applications should be received by May 1, 2026 for full consideration. Required Skills and Experience: An M.F.A. in Studio Art, Painting, Illustration or related field is required. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level as well as engagement in their own design practice. Teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred.
