About The Position
Landings Real Estate Group is looking for a driven Leasing Professional to join their growing team in New London, CT — a historic waterfront city with a thriving rental market and serious momentum. The Leasing Professional will be the face of the communities, turning walk-ins or phone calls into residents' next homes. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding prospects through tours, building genuine relationships with residents, maintaining high leasing momentum, and keeping the team informed on availability, market trends, and move-in readiness. This role serves as a great entry point into property management and is also suitable for experienced leasing professionals seeking a company that invests in growth and values its team.
Requirements
- Customer service or sales background — you know how to make people feel heard
- Strong communicator, both on the phone and face-to-face
- Organized and detail-oriented — lease docs and deadlinesdon'tslip by you
- Flexible with scheduling, including some weekends
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities
- Conduct tours of available units and model apartments, showcasing the lifestyle that comes with living at a Landings community
- Guide prospects through the full leasing journey — from first call to move-in day
- Process applications, verify qualifications, and complete lease documentation accurately and promptly
- Maintain daily tracking of traffic, availability, and resident interactions to support strong occupancy
- Follow up with prospective residents consistently — persistence closes leases
- Partner with maintenance and operations to ensure units are tour-ready and move-in perfect
- Support marketing efforts including online listings, community outreach, and competitive shopping
- Uphold Fair Housing laws and all company standards — always
