The company is seeking an enthusiastic Leasing Professional for their Oakland Station community in Oakland, CA. This role is crucial for achieving leasing goals, maximizing occupancy rates, and improving resident satisfaction and retention. The professional will handle daily leasing operations, conduct property tours, process applications, and implement renewal strategies to maintain high resident engagement.

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years of customer service experience, ideally in a sales environment or leasing property management role.
  • A passion for helping people find their ideal apartment home.
  • Goal Oriented.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple responsibilities, including leasing apartments, conducting tours, managing paperwork, and addressing resident needs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and comfortable learning or knowing property management software like Yardi, MRI, or other leasing and property management systems.
  • Possess a friendly, energetic, and approachable personality that resonates with both prospective and current residents.
  • Available to work weekends, which is essential for meeting the needs of potential residents and conducting tours during high-traffic hours.
  • Physically able to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the apartment community, conduct tours, and implement outreach campaigns to drive traffic. Manage online listings and social media to increase visibility.
  • Facilitate applicant screenings, prepare leases, and ensure smooth move-ins. Maintain accurate lease documentation.
  • Build relationships to encourage renewals, address concerns, and implement retention strategies.
  • Convert leads into leases, meet leasing goals, and generate new prospects through events and follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate records, assist in reporting, and support the Community Manager with lease renewals, resident files, and compliance with regulations.
