This role is perfect for someone who enjoys social media, design, and connecting with people all while keeping an eye on the numbers and closing leases!

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in marketing and/or leasing, with at least 2 years in multifamily or affordable housing.
  • Proficiency with leasing and marketing platforms (e.g., RespageAI, Zillow, Apartments.com, Yardi, RentCafe).
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising, lead generation, SEO/SEM, and social media strategy.
  • Experience with analytics platforms and CRM tools to assess performance and guide strategy.
  • Working knowledge of Fair Housing marketing/ leasing compliance.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and people skills.

Responsibilities

  • Be the go-to person for prospects; answer inquiries, schedule tours, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Guide applicants through the leasing process from first contact to signed lease, ensuring smooth communication and timely follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate availability, pricing, and specials across all Internet Listing Services (ILS) like Apartments.com, Zillow, and RentCafe.
  • Use CRM and leasing platforms to track leads, manage applications, and monitor conversion rates.
  • Know your assigned community inside and out; floor plans, amenities, and neighborhood highlights so you can confidently convert prospects.
  • Design and update flyers, emails, social posts, and signage that grab attention and reflect our brand.
  • Keep community listings and social media pages fresh, accurate, and engaging.
  • Assist with social media campaigns that showcase our communities and attract new residents.
  • Monitor and respond to online reviews to keep our reputation glowing.
  • Conduct market research on competitors, pricing, and local trends to stay ahead of the game.
  • Support outreach campaigns and resident events that boost visibility and engagement.
  • Help create marketing plans for new lease-ups, stabilized properties, and communities that need a boost.
  • Align marketing and leasing efforts with occupancy goals and regulatory timelines.
  • Ensure all marketing content meets Fair Housing, HUD, LIHTC, and Rural Development regulations.
  • Uphold brand standards across digital, print, and onsite materials.
