About The Position
Interstate Equities Corporation (IEC) is a vertically integrated real estate investment firm specializing in value-add multifamily properties in the Bay Area, Southern California (including Ventura County, Los Angeles, and San Diego) and Seattle markets. We focus on creating value through strategic repositioning and property management. IEC Property Services Corporation, our in-house property management company, strives to deliver exceptional customer service while executing property business plans. IEC is looking for an energetic, skilled Leasing Consultant to be responsible for leasing activities at our 176-unit apartment community located in Union City, California. The schedule will be Tuesday through Saturday from 9AM to 6PM.
Requirements
- At least one year of multi-family leasing experience
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws
- Ability to take direction, yet be self-motivated
- Be a team player, possess accountability, and be in alignment with company culture
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate with good organizational skills
- Must be available to work Tuesday-Saturday, 9AM to 6PM
Responsibilities
- Strong leasing and marketing efforts
- Assist in scheduling and conducting lease signing meetings and move-ins
- Complete administrative and lease-related data entries in the property management system (YARDI)
- Provide excellent customer service to residents
- Provide reports and other systems data to support leasing and marketing efforts as required
