About The Position

Interstate Equities Corporation (IEC) is a vertically integrated real estate investment firm specializing in value-add multifamily properties in the Bay Area, Southern California (including Ventura County, Los Angeles, and San Diego) and Seattle markets. IEC is looking for an energetic, skilled Leasing Consultant to be responsible for leasing activities at our 135-unit apartment community located in Livermore, California. This is a part-time role working 24 hours per week. The schedule will be Thursday through Saturday from 9AM to 6PM.

Requirements

• At least one year of multi-family leasing experience
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws
• Ability to take direction, yet be self-motivated
• Be a team player, possess accountability, and be in alignment with company culture
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literate with good organizational skills
• Must be available to work a part-time schedule of Thursday-Saturday, 9AM to 6PM

Responsibilities

• Strong leasing and marketing efforts
• Assist in scheduling and conducting lease signing meetings and move-ins
• Complete administrative and lease-related data entries in the property management system (YARDI)
• Provide excellent customer service to residents
• Provide reports and other systems data to support leasing and marketing efforts as required
