About The Position

Looking for a Full Time (40 hrs/week) Leasing Consultant for affordable multifamily Apartments. The successful candidate must demonstrate skills in customer service, and marketing, including social media, administration, and solid people skills. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2 years of housing marketing and/or leasing experience
  • Initiative in sales and closing techniques for LIHTC housing units
  • 2 years of effective advertising campaigns including web postings and/or social media
  • Efficiently update and maintain quarterly market survey reports
  • 2 years of experience pre-inspection, showing property, reviewing applicants, completion of lease or rental agreements, enforcement of lease terms, and collection of specified rents, security deposits, and impounds
  • Manage quality control of tenant interviews and maintain leads for potential residents
  • Improved and/or maintained occupancy levels and associated budget
  • Ability to maintain or increase resident retention and renewal programs
  • Ability to generate reports and explain leasing status efforts and accomplishments

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable for company vehicles.
  • Standard vision, with or without corrective eyewear.
  • Standard hearing, with or without a hearing aid.
  • Ability to climb one flight of stairs and the ability to walk a half-mile per property approx. once per week.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds, approximately 3 times per week.
  • Candidates must pass pre-employment background and credit check.
