About The Position

AvalonBay Communities is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Leasing Consultant to manage the daily operations of the leasing team at one of their apartment communities. The role focuses on ensuring residents experience luxury living and helping prospective residents find their ideal home. This involves customizing tours to individual tastes, recommending floorplans, and highlighting neighborhood amenities. The company's purpose is to create a better way to live, making a difference in residents' lives by providing great service and an unforgettable experience.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• 1-2 years of experience in a leasing or customer service role, preferably in the real estate or property management industry
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Responsibilities

• Help residents find the best place to call home
• Customize creative and thoughtful tours to individual tastes
• Recommend the perfect floorplan
• Outline the best new neighborhood restaurants
• Follow through on every lead to ensure prospective residents know you care
• Create a sense of community and go the extra mile to create a spectacular experience for new residents
• Drive leasing performance through personalized connections and recommendations
• Create excitement through creative campaigns, continuous outreach, and social media
• Continuously reach out with tailored updates to prospective residents, including ideal floorplans, new hot-spot openings, and neighborhood food trucks
• Help both residents and colleagues in Creating a Better Way to Live
