About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the property leasing process, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and providing exceptional customer service to prospective tenants. This position requires strong administrative skills, knowledge of property leasing, and the ability to effectively manage conflicts.

Requirements

• Previous experience in property leasing or real estate administration is preferred.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and LIHTC is a plus.
• Strong administrative skills with attention to detail in managing documentation and records.
• Excellent negotiation skills and a solid understanding of relevant laws pertaining to property leasing.
• Proven ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining positive relationships with tenants and team members.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience (1 year preferred)
• Real Estate License (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist in leasing by conducting property tours and showcasing available units to potential tenants.
• Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, leases, and renewals while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations.
• Manage tenant inquiries and concerns, demonstrating effective conflict management skills to resolve issues promptly.
• Negotiate lease terms and conditions with prospective tenants while adhering to company policies and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with the property management team to ensure efficient completion of all administrative tasks, including filing and maintaining tenant files.
• Utilize Computerized Leasing Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) for tracking leads and appointments and ensuring timely responses to prospective tenants.
• Stay informed about local real estate market trends and property management best practices, including Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) guidelines.
