About The Position

The Leasing Agent’s responsibilities may vary slightly based on location; however, strong communication skills and a personable demeanor are key factors to success. The ability to multi-task and be adaptive to changing responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude are also crucial. This position is located in Phoenix, Arizona.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in sales and customer service, previous leasing experience required
• Illinois leasing license or ability to obtain within 120 days from date of hire
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Approachable and friendly demeanor
• Strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to work with all levels of employees

Nice To Haves

• Yardi experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Complies with local and federal Fair Housing Standards
• Touring prospects and leasing apartments
• Responsible for updating resident databases
• Process applications
• Responds to residents’ inquiries
• Conducts inspections of vacant apartments
