About The Position

We are currently seeking a positive, personable Leasing Agent to join our team! Leasing Agents are the first impression of Uptown, working with prospective residents, both in-office and in the field, helping them find their new homes. This is a full-time position starting at $17/hour, with eligibility for the awesome benefits listed below. Hours: Monday-Thursday 10am-6pm, Friday 9am-5pm, plus some rotating weekend shifts (Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday 12pm-5pm)—because finding dream homes doesn’t stop on Friday! Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and a clean record
- A can-do attitude that lights up a room
- Killer people skills and a knack for problem-solving
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (nothing fancy, just the basics)
- Ready to roll with a flexible schedule, including some weekends
Nice To Haves
- Bonus points for sales experience—but if you’ve got charisma, we’ll teach you the rest!
Responsibilities
- Show off our properties and seal the deal with prospective residents—fast and friendly!
- Be the first smile they see, giving top-tier service in person and over the phone
- Take prospects on tours, answer their questions, and follow up like a pro
- Team up with our Property Management squad to keep everything running smooth
- Hop in a company vehicle (or take a stroll) to visit sites across town
- Keep our fleet in check when needed
- Chat with prospective residents, figure out what they need, and match them with the perfect spot
- Team up with Property Managers to keep info spot-on and occupancy sky-high
- Turn website clicks into happy renters with slick follow-ups
- Keep our properties shining by spotting maintenance needs during tours
- Track your wins with Yardi software (don’t worry, we’ll show you how)
