About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Real Estate Leasing Agent to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for marketing available properties, qualifying prospective tenants, and guiding clients through the leasing process from initial inquiry to lease signing. This is a full-time field-based role at our Hudson Piers development, located in Yonkers, NY. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent interpersonal skills, and is committed to delivering an exceptional client experience.

Requirements

• Active New York state real estate license
• Minimum 3 years of experience in real estate leasing, sales, or other related activities in the real estate industry
• Strong knowledge of fair housing laws and landlord-tenant regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
• Experienced in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work weekends

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency with property management software (e.g. Yardi/RentCafe)
• Experience with CRM systems and digital marketing tools
• Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Market and advertise available rental units across digital platforms, MLS, and social media channels
• Conduct property showings and open houses for prospective tenants in a professional manner
• Screen and qualify applicants through credit checks, background verifications, and income documentation
• Negotiate and execute lease agreements in compliance with local, state, and federal housing laws
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of available units, showings, and applicant status
• Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective tenants to ensure high occupancy rates
• Coordinate with property management and maintenance teams to ensure units are move-in ready
• Track market trends, rental rates, and competitor activity to provide strategic leasing recommendations
• Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and online portals to maximize lead conversion
• Assist in preparing move-in/move-out documentation, inspection reports, and lease renewals
