The Leasing Agent is responsible for renting out apartments and providing assistance to residents to meet their needs.

Requirements

Minimum Education: High School
Minimum Experience: 1-2 Years
Minimum Field of Expertise: Secretarial or specialized clerical, including some administrative experience.
Must have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Experience: 3 Years
Preferred Field of Expertise: Combined secretarial and administrative experience in a business environment

Responsibilities

Provide potential tenants with a tour of the property or home highlighting the valuable features of the building.
Assist in the marketing and advertising of vacancies on media/advert channels to attract potential tenants.
Run background checks on potential tenants.
Communicate the terms of the lease, rental rate, and period of payment to tenants.
Conduct a survey of the property market to obtain information on competing lease rates and other trends that affect occupancy/rent.
Ensure the proper documentation and storage of leasing files.
Assist the leasing manager/community manager in walking apartments for ready status.
Identify and report any state or federal law changes that effect the property lease, rules, or other guidelines used onsite.
Ensures confidentiality and controls access to sensitive information.
Ensures timely completion of their work.
