About The Position

LEASING AGENT: The Leasing Agent has one of the most important responsibilities in our company: providing excellent customer service to prospective and current residents. We are looking for a Leasing Agent to fill a full-time opening immediately at Adams Park Apartments in Albany, NY. The qualified Leasing Agent candidate will have previous experience especially related to customer service and sales. Requirements

Previous relevant experience in apartment leasing and customer service.
Excellent customer service, sales, and problem-solving skills.
Professional use of verbal and written communications.
Detail-oriented and able to accurately prepare paperwork and reports.
Cannot be a resident of a Sunrise-managed apartment community.
If the candidate holds a real estate license, they must be willing to transfer their license to Sunrise Management & Consulting.
Must have a valid, clean driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language.
Ability to lift objects up to 25 lbs. without the assistance of tools or devices.
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Ability to lead tours of apartments, which involves excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication, and being able to walk the property and show units upstairs or downstairs without assistance.

Responsibilities

Assisting prospects, residents, and coworkers.
Communicating the benefits of the apartment community, responding to leads by phone, in-person, and in writing.
Leading tours of apartments.
Screening prospective residents.
Keeping accurate and detailed records and uses Entrata property management software.
Assisting residents with questions or other requests
Complying with all Federal and Local Fair Housing regulations and ordinances.
Maintaining productive and professional relationships with the Property Manager, site team, and all other coworkers.
Other duties as assigned.
