About The Position

As a Leasing Administrator, you will support the Lease Manager with the administration of properties, including our subsidiaries and subleases. You will work with various internal teams (e.g., finance, operations) and external stakeholders (e.g., landlords, property managers) to ensure smooth operations. Your responsibilities will include maintaining lease documents, ensuring they are correctly filed, properly executed, and archived for future reference. You will also reconcile and ensure timely payment of rent and other financial obligations under the lease, including common area maintenance (CAM) charges, operating expenses, and property taxes. Additionally, you will track Construction in Progress (CIP) accounts and provide quarterly reports to Senior Managers to help them understand and anticipate amortization expenses. You will act as a point of contact for tenants, responding to questions, concerns, or issues related to the lease agreement or property conditions. Furthermore, you will ensure that ARA maintains appropriate insurance coverage as outlined in the lease agreements and support annual audits. Once fully trained, there will be opportunities for growth and development into additional duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or comparable experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and organized with a strong work ethic.
  • Customer service focused with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to manage independent tasks and/or projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to enter data accurately into computer systems.
  • Ability to think critically and pay acute attention to details.
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with team members.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of individual tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
  • Experience with property management and leases.
  • Familiarity with Visual Lease platform.
  • Has a security clearance or is eligible to obtain one.
