About The Position

The New York office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is looking to hire a Learning & Technology Adoption Intern to join our 2026 Summer internship program and support the Learning & Technology Adoption (LTA) Team. Willkie is an elite international law firm of approximately 1,300 lawyers located in 16 offices in six countries. The LTA Intern will be a member of the LTA team and will participate in various projects. This role will give you the opportunity to work with LTA leadership and trainers to develop training programs and materials, facilitate existing programs, enter and manage classes into the firm LMS, and help create and update team processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching/facilitating to medium/large groups both virtually and in-person, as well as developing course content. Candidates should be intellectually curious and have the ability to adapt to changing priorities, maintain confidential information at all times, and communicate in a courteous and professional manner. This a great opportunity to gain valuable hands-on IT experience in a law firm environment. Candidates should be willing to work 35 hours weekly starting June 2026 through August 2026 for 10 weeks, with the possibility to extending into the academic year. Dates to be announced once finalized. In-office presence in the New York office is required four times a week.

Requirements

  • Ability to work from June through August.
  • Must be in the process of completing an associates or undergraduate degree.
  • Experience in facilitating training to groups and individuals.
  • Experience in developing training programs and materials.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update training programs and materials.
  • Facilitate existing training both in-person and remote.
  • Create and update documentation around team processes and procedures.
  • Schedule classes and track attendance in the firms Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Enter & track work in the firms project management system.
  • Give and receive feedback on content developed.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.
