The Learning Support Specialist, under general supervision, attends and assists assigned classes and courses and provide strategic academic support for students. Apply demonstrated academic best practices for assisting students with specific subjects and assignments, including writing research papers, giving presentations, developing study habits, managing test anxieties, and organizing class notes. Communicate closely with faculty and tutors on student issues and academic matters. Identify and conduct targeted intervention for at-risk students. Collect, track, and monitor data on student progress for the deans. Maintain confidential records. Perform other related duties as assigned.
