About The Position

HealthPartners is hiring a Learning Supervisor. The Learning Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the design, delivery, and ongoing maintenance of end-user training programs. This role provides guidance to Learning Specialists, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and project needs. The Learning Supervisor also supports workflow design, testing, go-live activities, and maintains realistic training environments that mirror production systems for optimal learning experiences. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent training/healthcare experience in lieu of degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT or training.
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct supervisory experience.
  • Expertise in curriculum design including learning objectives, content development and assessment strategies.
  • Proficient in both virtual and in-person facilitation techniques.
  • Strong leadership, team building and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to build and sustain relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Proven success in implementing process improvements and change management.
  • Skilled in using reporting tools to evaluate team performance and training effectiveness.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with learning technologies such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) platforms, eLearning tools and content management systems.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 3 years of experience working with Epic systems.
  • Current Epic Principal Trainer certification
  • Current Epic application certification
  • Experience in developing and delivering training materials for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders including clinical, operational, and IT.
  • Ability to manage staff and resources within budget constraints.
  • Familiarity with governance and best practices for learning software, and content management.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Deep understanding of Epic training environments and their ongoing maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and principles.

Responsibilities

  • (20%) Supervise staff with full authority over hiring, performance management, compliance with organizational policies, and professional development.
  • (20%) Support team members in daily operations, including successful onboarding, new hire training, work assignments, and coaching.
  • (20%) Lead training-related project activities such as requirements gathering, content creation, and go-live support.
  • (20%) Oversee training logistics including scheduling, delivery, and environment setup.
  • (10%) Identify and implement innovative and continuous improvement ideas to enhance workflow and improve services.
  • (10%) Engage with stakeholders to assess training effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
