Learning Specialist
About The Position
At Moravian Academy, we believe every learner deserves the space to ask - and begin to answer - "Who am I, and who can I become?" Our Learning Specialists are essential to that work: educators who look closely, think creatively, and walk alongside students whose paths to understanding may look a little different. We are seeking a full-time Learning Specialist for the 2026–27 school year at our Historic Downtown Campus. This K–8 role supports students across both our English and Spanish Immersion tracks. You will deliver direct 1:1 and small group instruction, partner with classroom teachers on differentiation and plan implementation, conduct assessments, and serve as a valued member of our Learning Support Team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or a Master's in Special Education
- Strong knowledge of structured literacy
- Strong knowledge of reading intervention
- Strong knowledge of executive functioning
