The Opportunity: As the Learning Specialist and Academic Advisor you will be responsible for helping student athletes organize, monitor, evaluate and make adjustments pertaining to their academic progress and development. Your primary responsibilities will include: academic skill development, individualized support of academic success plans, and tracking and monitoring individual progress. In this position, you will independently work directly with a diverse population of student athletes to identify options and courses of action when resolving problems and/or making decisions utilizing specialized knowledge of complex NCAA, Pac-12, State, WSU and department rules/regulations. Additional Information: This is a full-time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible. Monthly Salary: $3,665 to $4,882 | Range 41 | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28. In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
