About The Position

The Learning Solutions Architect I supports Navy Federal's leaders and business partners by providing optimal learning solutions to achieve business unit objectives and enterprise-wide initiatives, aligning with Navy Federal's University learning model and enterprise strategy. This role involves partnering with talent development, the enterprise learning community, and subject matter experts to curate, validate, and develop content, learning resources, tools, and self-directed materials. The architect also supports the measurement of learning solution effectiveness and programs, and provides expertise in design programs, principles, development standards, techniques, and methodologies to ensure a positive learner/customer experience and alignment with Navy Federal's strategy and culture.

Requirements

• Exposure to one or more of the following: program management and evaluation, learning science, communications, instructional design, organizational development and/or extensive experience designing, developing, and implementing training
• Willingness to learn, use a growth mindset and combine theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on application
• Understanding of how to conduct needs assessment and analysis for learning solutions
• Experience effectively building relationships with and influencing team members and management
• Understanding of measuring ROI on learning solutions
• Understanding of compiling, organizing and presenting findings and conclusions clearly and concisely
• Exposure to synchronous learning and/or facilitation for individuals or groups
• Experience in working and participating in cross-functional teams and projects
• Fundamental understanding of instructional theories, educational psychology, educational theory, tools and resources
• Understanding of research, analysis and problem-solving in Learning environment
• Ability to interact tactfully and effectively in difficult situations
• Knowledge of organizational, planning, and project management skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to include speaking and/or presenting in front of groups in a professional setting
• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional Technology, Human Resources, business, communication, behavioral sciences, Program Management or related field or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting research on identified changes and updates to existing or new plans
• Assist in the development of learning solutions and content for one or more professional development or employee upskilling programs
• Independently facilitate group learning sessions on less complex materials
• Assist in creation of reference materials, support tools and leader resources that reinforce strategic learning
• Remain current with industry learning best practices and technical, product and program enhancements
• May participate in small scale Section projects
• Perform other duties as assigned
