As a Learning Partner you will collaborate with learning teams and subject matter experts on project deliverables to identify, develop, and execute learning solutions that support short and long-term business goals and objectives. You will participate in the analysis, evaluation, and execution of learning strategies. You will build and foster strong relationships with business partners and learning teams. You will apply Adult Learning Theory to create measurable objectives and conversational content aligned with Travelers brand standards. We are seeking a candidate with a foundational understanding of personal lines insurance products, coverages, and systems. The ideal candidate excels at stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and driving consensus across diverse audiences. Strong project management skills are essential to lead multiple complex projects, prioritize demands, manage timelines, and mitigate risks. Experience integrating AI tools to enhance efficiency and learning outcomes is valued. The ideal candidate will also have strong instructional design experience with proficiency in authoring tools (Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate, Rise 360) and multimedia production skills (Photoshop, Camtasia, Vyond).

Requirements

  • Two years’ experience in a learning and development, training, design, or business-related field.

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Four years of experience in respective business operation or other learning and development environment.
  • Experience with writing and developing learning resources.
  • Awareness of learning technologies, support systems, and methodologies with the ability to assist with implementation of those technologies.
  • General knowledge of the business/personal insurance industry.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with others.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct learning needs analysis to determine need, scope, and required resources based on business needs.
  • Gather and synthesize information and data to identify recommendations for learning solutions.
  • Partner to develop objective statements, understand personas, intended outcomes, processes and systems, and measurements for supported line of business, program, or function.
  • Maintain consistent learning processes, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency across Travelers.
  • Support and inform curriculum development which may include planning, designing, developing, and outlining solutions to learning objectives.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of learning solutions.
  • Assist with planning and execution of projects and resources to ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Leverage change management methodologies, processes, and tools to create strategies to support adoption of changes.
  • Write business processes and procedures leveraging knowledge of business/product specific methodologies and tools.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
