About The Position

The Learning Experience Designer supports the mission of Pratt U by developing digital learning content for employees across Pratt Industries. This role works with leaders from multiple divisions to turn business needs into practical learning solutions that support employee development and operational excellence. In this role, you will create online learning content such as videos, animations, and digital training modules that support Pratt U programs and other company learning initiatives. You will collaborate with teams across the company to ensure training content reflects real operational needs and is clear, engaging, and easy for employees to apply in their work. The Learning Experience Designer will also manage the distribution of training content through the Learning Management System (LMS) and explore new tools—including AI-powered technologies—to improve learning engagement and accessibility.

Requirements

  • Ability to translate business needs into practical and engaging learning solutions.
  • Experience designing digital learning content such as videos, tutorials, animations, or e-learning modules.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and content publishing.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders across multiple divisions.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills for instructional content development.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with distributed teams.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to support programs or develop content on-site.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working on cross-divisional or cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered content creation tools such as Synthesia or similar platforms.
  • Experience with video editing, animation, or multimedia production tools.
  • Background in instructional design or corporate learning environments.
  • Experience in the recycling, paper-making, or paper-packaging industry.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and initiative in using emerging technologies to increase learning engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders across Pratt divisions to identify learning needs and translate them into effective learning experiences.
  • Design and develop digital learning content including videos, animations, tutorials, and interactive learning modules.
  • Produce multimedia learning assets using video creation platforms, animation tools, and AI-powered content tools.
  • Upload, organize, and manage training materials within the company’s Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Support Pratt U programs by developing digital content that reinforces program objectives and enhances participant engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-divisional teams to ensure learning content reflects real operational needs.
  • Utilize emerging technologies and AI tools to improve engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Ensure learning content is clear, practical, and accessible for employees across a variety of roles and locations.
  • Assist with the promotion and distribution of learning resources across the company.
