We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Learning and Development (L&D) Program Manager within our Talent Management team to help support our business. As a global-diversified manufacturing company, it's sometimes hard to explain all the different things we do. We like to say, "we're the biggest company no one has ever heard of." We are confident you interact with one of our products in your daily life without knowing it. Whether it's the mattress you sleep on, the car you drive, the plane you fly on, or the furniture you sit on, our high-quality components are there supporting you. If you join our team, your work will ensure people across the world have a little more comfort in their lives. As a L&D Program Manager you will have the opportunity to design, implement, and facilitate impactful learning programs across our global organization. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by creating programs that engage employees, enhance leadership skills and professional competencies and foster a culture of continuous learning.

  • Manage all aspects of our current leadership development program, which includes scheduling and facilitating ongoing cohorts of learners, communicating with participants and managers, tracking and managing attendance and participation, and reporting on success metrics
  • Leading the design and curation of additional learning content to deliver via e-learning modules, onsite and virtual workshops, and training sessions
  • Developing meaningful relationships with HR and business stakeholders, assessing their learning needs and goals, and turning them into practical L&D initiatives and solutions
  • Partnering with subject matter experts to ensure content relevance and quality
  • Defining success metrics of learning programs and evaluating effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and surveys
  • Continuously improving programs based on insights and evolving business needs
  • Championing a learning culture at L&P and driving employee participation in programs through communication and advocacy
  • Occasionally managing vendors and/or external learning partners to ensure smooth integration of materials and programs
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business management, education, organizational development, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in learning and development, facilitating courses, HR, and/or creating and implementing learning programs
  • Excellent communicator, collaborator, and influencer
  • An understanding of adult learning and development principles
  • Experience with learning metrics, data trends, and reporting
  • Preferred experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Occasional travel (10%) may be required
