As a Learning & Development Manager, you’ll play a critical role in shaping our talent landscape, driving development programs that build capability, strengthen culture, and support our long-term strategy. You’ll architect learning experiences that are both high-impact and highly practical, ensuring every employee has the tools, skills, and confidence to excel. From designing leadership journeys to scaling foundational programs, you’ll influence how Zocdoc learns, leads, and evolves for years to come.

Requirements

  • A passion for developing talent in an environment that competes relentlessly on talent
  • 6+ years of learning & development experience, with at least 2 years in a manager capacity, preferably with some time spent in a fast paced high growth start-up or tech based organization
  • Knowledge about and ability to apply current learning research and theory to the practice of instructional design and delivery
  • Interest in working alongside leaders and subject-matter experts to define training content and a track record of building creative and scalable programs responsive to the company's evolving strategies
  • Experience setting up and managing learning operations and developing a scalable platform for L&D administration
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, leadership, and project management skills
  • Strong understanding of general business operations and processes that enables you to interact with internal and external partners, including all levels of management
  • The ability to integrate generative AI tools into your daily workflows to automate tasks, foster innovation, and maximize productivity

Responsibilities

  • Defining and evolving the company’s learning and development strategy and employee learning offer in alignment with business goals and talent priorities
  • Assessing organizational and leadership development needs in partnership with subject-matter experts, HR Business Partners, and senior leadership
  • Designing and scaling a holistic learning ecosystem, including training programs, leadership development, mentoring, certifications, and external learning partnerships
  • Overseeing the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning content and programs to meet diverse audience and business needs
  • Establishing success metrics and governance to evaluate program effectiveness, optimize investment, and ensure sustained impact
  • Managing learning platforms, tools, budgets, and operational logistics while maximizing adoption and return on learning investments
  • Driving engagement and alignment through strategic communications and global collaboration, including partnering with the Pune-based training team to leverage best practices
