About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Learning and Development Consultant in Human Resources as a part of Talent Management and Learning. This position will train, mentor and coach employees to successful passing of their series and insurance licensure. This position will coach licensing candidates for study strategies and test – taking skills, monitor progress and guide individuals toward focus areas of improvement. In this role, you will: Provide consulting, coaching, and delivery as needed to individual contributors and managers related to the implementation of technical, functional, product skills, or relevant competencies. Identify opportunities for process improvements within scope of responsibilities or functional area. Review and analyze basic operational assignments that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, exercise independent judgement to guide medium risk deliverables. Use knowledge of development programs across a few business disciplines to articulate the interconnectivity and business impact of various learning solutions. Partners with vendors to develop curricula, courses and materials gathered from consultative needs assessments, learning participants, business opportunities and needs of client groups. Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations and exercise independent judgement while developing expertise in functional areas, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate and consult with colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders, including internal, as well as external customers.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Learning and Development Consulting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Active Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 (or FINRA recognized equivalents) sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration.
  • Registration for FINRA Series 66 (or 63 and 65), and Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
  • FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Position will require onsite presence at one of the required locations listed below in a hybrid work schedule.
  • Flexibility to support global teams across time zones.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
  • Relocation assistance not available for this position.
  • Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position.
  • FINRA Series 7, 66 (or 63 and 65) and Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) examinations, or equivalent must be completed within a 90-day time period following commencement of employment, depending upon the number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire.
  • FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance.
  • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements.
  • Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire.
  • In accordance with FINRA rules, individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer.
  • Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.
  • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired.
