About The Position

As an L&D Analytics Analyst, you will build and own the reporting infrastructure that makes our training programs measurable, scalable, and actionable. You’ll partner closely with Learning & Development and leadership to turn training, workforce, and operational data into clear insights that drive performance. This role is hands-on and highly visible. You won’t just report data, you’ll shape how it’s used. Success in this role means building reporting that is consistently used by L&D and leadership to make decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Psychology, Education, or related field required. Total overall experience can be substituted for a degree.
  • 1–2 years of professional experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related analytical role; relevant internship experience in a professional setting will be considered.
  • Proficiency in Power BI or comparable data visualization platform; ability to build and maintain dashboards supporting L&D programs.
  • Proficiency with Excel including formulas, pivot tables, and basic charts.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for querying LMS, HRIS, and CRM data sources (BehaviorLive, Salesforce, or equivalent).
  • Comfort learning new software and technology tools independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with data.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple files and data sources.
  • Dependable and organized with ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Collaborative team player who asks questions and seeks feedback.
  • Problem-solving mindset with willingness to troubleshoot and find solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain automated dashboards to track training completion rates, certification status, attendance, and performance metrics.
  • Pull data from LMS platforms (BehaviorLive), HRIS systems, Salesforce and Power BI using SQL.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports for L&D leadership with key metrics and trends.
  • Ensure data accuracy through validation checks and quality control processes.
  • Document data sources, definitions, and reporting methodologies for team reference.
  • Analyze training data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Calculate and interpret training performance metrics including completion rates, time-to-completion, pass rates, and trend variance.
  • Analyze training data across programs to identify trends and surface actionable insights for leadership.
  • Create clear data visualizations (charts, graphs, tables) to communicate findings.
  • Track training program effectiveness against established KPIs, monitor progress, and identify success factors.
  • Respond to ad-hoc data requests from L&D team members and stakeholders.
  • Flag data anomalies or concerning trends to senior leadership for investigation.
  • Maintain accurate records in LMS and data systems including attendance, completions, and certifications.
  • Organize and maintain data files, reports, and analytical documentation.
  • Support cross-functional data integration by partnering with IT and system administrators on LMS, HRIS, and Salesforce data pipelines.
  • Comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures including HIPAA and data security standards.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, collaboration and high levels of service at all times.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational data.
  • Communicate proactively with supervisors about project status, challenges, and capacity.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and support L&D initiatives.
