We are looking for a Learning and Development Manager to implement new and improved L&D programs. In this position you will play a key role working with various members of senior leadership as your L&D initiatives have a positive impact on training thousands of TJX Associates! Develops, manages and monitors the implementation of all learning and development, leadership development and training needs for multiple Distribution Facilities. Ensures the learning and development strategy is in alignment with the network strategy and meeting the business needs of the facility. Builds relationships with, and collaborates with, the Sr HRBPs, the AVPS of HR, the other L&D Managers across the network as well as the Leadership teams and support functions within the facilities. Manages L&D Specialists to ensure the organizational needs of associates within the facility are met. Measures effectiveness of Learning and Development programs. Provides direction and support to L&D Specialists on the execution of local and network training programs, conducts needs assessments, and validates effectiveness of programs. Drives the delivery of core skill training to DC leadership and associates, ensuring it is consistent across the network and customized where needed; in partnership with COEs and SMEs as well as L&D Peers. Oversees training processes to support Leaders at all levels in acquiring knowledge and skills necessary to perform at Company standards. Drives development opportunities across buildings in partnership with the business and network. Supports Distribution support functions; (I.e. Finance, HR, Engineering, LP, Labor Relations, Merchandise Control, Maintenance, Transportation, 3PLs) as consultants for learning solutions. Identifies needs and develops solutions for the identified support function for the network by partnering with peers, leaders and leveraging COEs/SMEs.

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or Business) or equivalent job experience.
  • Minimum 3- 5 years Learning and Development/Training experience, preferably in a distribution environment.
  • 3+ years in management capacity
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, and implement large-scale L&D activities.
  • Knowledge of conducting needs analyses, instructional course design, Adult Learning Theory, and problem solving.
  • Proven track record of coaching and mentoring multiple levels of management.
  • Prior experience with DC operations and procedures, or willing to acquire that knowledge quickly.
