About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Learning and Development Specialist to strengthen our manufacturing workforce through robust and engaging employee training programs. This role will focus on assessing skill gaps, designing industry-specific training solutions, facilitating technical and compliance-driven sessions, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement on the factory floor and beyond. The ideal candidate possesses a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and adult learning principles. Key Responsibilities Conduct needs assessments to identify critical skill gaps and training requirements for production, quality, safety, maintenance, and supervisory staff within a manufacturing environment. Design, develop, and deliver effective technical, compliance, safety, onboarding, and professional development training — including hands-on, classroom, e-learning, and blended formats. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and regulatory compliance. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs to make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement. Maintain and manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and ensure accurate documentation of training records as required by regulatory agencies. Research and integrate new training technologies and best practices tailored to a manufacturing environment. Support change management related to process improvements. Qualifications: Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning theory or a related field Minimum 1 year of experience designing and delivering training in a manufacturing, operations, or industrial environment. Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS); experience with e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) is a plus. Demonstrated experience delivering training sessions to groups of 20–30 participants. Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $81,210.00-137,950.00 USD The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
