Position Summary Responsible for teaching Learn-to-Skate classes; creating a safe and effective learning experience for skaters of all ages. The ICI Learn to Skate program is part of the Learn to Skate USA National program and follows its guidelines. This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00-$20.00. For Part-Time roles: Benefits: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline.

Requirements

Must meet Learn to Skate or USFS Coaching Compliance standards.
Must maintain Safe Sport Compliance.
Knowledge of USA Figure Skating By-Laws and Policies.
Ability to respond appropriately to customer service issues.
Minimum of 1 year of on-ice coaching and instructing experience.
Minimum of 1 year of recreation or facility management experience.
Must be at least 17 years of age.

Responsibilities

Responsible for promoting and representing the Facility positively at all times.
Provide instruction in accordance with Learn to Skate USA Guidelines.
Assist with set up of ice for learn to skate classes as necessary.
Communicate clearly and concisely in the English language, both orally and in writing.
Consistently arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
Other duties as assigned.
